COMPANY WILL BE INSTALLED IN SIMÕES FILHO, GENERATING APPROXIMATELY 750 JOBS

A ceremony held this Monday morning (09)at the City Hall of Simões Filho, metropolitan region of Salvador, celebrated the installation of a plastic packaging company, Bomix, which promises to generate approximately 750 direct jobs in the region. Alexandre Rosário, Bomix representative, said that this is a bold investment, and that probably by mid-year 2018 the factory will be up and running in full swing.

Still according to Rosário, the plant is already being built and counts on an investment of R$ 60 million reais. The secretary of Economic Development of Simões Filho, Djalma Machado, informed that this is a partnership between the public power, businessmen and the Commercial Association for the promotion of employment and income. In addition, Machado confirmed that the selection process of the professionals will start in 2018 through Sine system, with priority for students from IFBA and other technical courses. The Mayor, Diógenes Tolentino, Dinha, said that this investment is due to the belief in the potential of Simões Filho, leading businessmen to see this productive potential of the city. “All of this will translate into a better quality of life because we will increase our revenues, job generation and we are structuring the municipality for it to be recognized as the great city that it is, a reference in industry”, said Dinha.
