Implementation of Bahia Orthopedic Hospital and Bahia Education, Innovation and Training Center

The work to implement the Bahia Orthopedic Hospital – Hoba and the Bahia Education, Innovation and Training Center(Ceinfor) foresees the renovation, expansion and construction of new buildings, within the healthcare proposal and needs programs, from the Health Care Establishment – EAS and Teaching Institution. Bahia Orthopedic Hospital and Bahia Education, Innovation and Training Center are being built in Cabula, in the city of Salvador – BA, on a plot of land with an area of ​​102,000.00 m², which will be shared between the State Health Department(SESAB) and State Education Department (SEC).

 

As part of the project, the demolition and renovation of the current gatehouse is planned, as well as the revitalization of the road system through the resurfacing of the asphalt and the placement of new cobblestones. The implementation and urbanization of the hospital will include the construction of inpatient and ICU beds, operating rooms, footbridges, ramps, parking and green areas with landscaped design.  In addition, the work also foresees the construction of the study center, with study rooms, laboratories and areas for recreation and collective activities.

 

In total, an area of 16,555.42 m² will be expanded and renovated for the work on the Bahia Ortopedic Hospital, and 12,268.19 m² for the construction and renovation of Bahia Education, Innovation and Training Center.
